We have a reason to celebrate! It’s the 15th birthday of the Music Learning Collective (MLC), and we’re thrilled to share this milestone with our incredible community.

But that’s not all—the MLC has exciting news to share as we step into the future. We’ve transformed into Music Learning Collective CIC, a community interest company, with a whole new set of objectives that are bound to make a positive impact on our collective.

At the Collective, we’re all about inspiring, enlightening, and enabling our community—the collective—to develop through a music-centred pathway of their choice. We believe that music has the power to make a difference, both in the lives of individuals and the local communities we work with. By offering high-quality music-centred education, we aim to level up the standards and push boundaries in all settings.

We’re determined to dissolve barriers of access to the arts and creative industries education. We want to bridge cultural divides by facilitating experiences and learning that promote expression as a means for community cohesion and personal empowerment. By doing so, we’re opening doors to the world of music for everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.

At the Collective, our values drive everything we do. We prioritise creating a culture of warmth and belonging, where everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ability. We hold ourselves accountable and strive to deliver our very best in everything we do. We’re not afraid to challenge the status quo, as we believe in finding new ways to grow our companies and each other. With transparency, dignity, and respect, we foster connections and promote a supportive and inspiring environment.

We’re beyond excited to embark on this new journey with our community. The possibilities are endless! To help us achieve our goals, we’re working closely with various organisations to devise exciting programs that benefit all. We can’t wait to unveil these programs and see the positive impact they have on individuals and communities.
